People look at you weird when you say you are going to Fillmore for the weekend, don't they know it is the Territorial State Capitol of Utah? Everything aside, what they don't know is that Fillmore is one of the most ATV friendly cities anywhere, and, you can access the Paiute ATV trail right from town.
We went for the 24th of July weekend with our friends, the Whites. I work with Jana, Brendan is our eye doc, and their boys (Cooper and Cameron) go to daycare with Orson. Cooper and Orson are great friends, even when they are knocking each other down, wrestling and grabbing handfuls of face.
Not knowing where to camp (we do now, but it is a secret!), we made reservations for the KOA, and for KOAs, it rocks. They are nice friendly folks, they even pick up your garbage curbside. The access for the trail is right out of camp, but really, I think you can access it from anywhere in town. We were driving down Mainstreet, passed a local sheriff and the cop shop with no trouble at all.
Day One:
After setting up camp, we rode the "Fillmore Triangle - 03."
Yup, we barely fit on the two track trails.

Day two:
We went to the town of Kanosh and up Kanosh Canyon(06) until we joined with the main trail (01). Brendan wasn't able to go with us (he had to go back to SLC), he missed a great day!
Seems like somebody didn't want to wake up.

Wish there was Scratch-n-Sniff software.
Day three:
We did sort of a repeat of yesterday, there was just more to see. We added a side trail (097), a trip to Richfield for lunch and to purchase rain gear. We dodged rain/hail all day and we figured if we bought the gear (yes, we were unprepared), we wouldn't get rained on, but if we didn't get it we would get wet. Ends up, we stayed dry, not sure how with all the mud and hail we saw.
Fabulous campground:

Stop for coats - it was freezing!
And, oh ya, stop for mittens on the feet.
