Monster Quilt

I watched a segment on a quilt show that used a reverse appliqué technique combined with steps on making a rag quilt. Orson loves monsters (any kind!) and I was just to selfish to let him have the monster quilt I hand appliquéd, so I thought I would try the technique on a quilt for his big boy bed. I think it turned out darling, of course like all of my projects it is not quite finished, they still need some eyes! He is now out of a crib and in a twin bed, next step, out of diapers and into big boy pants!
