We took Grandma Moody to the cabin for her 90th birthday present. She wanted to go to the mountains with trees. I hope it was all she wanted. She got to go on some Rhino rides and look for deer. The first night we saw a bunch of them, not so much the second night. Maybe they got smart as the bow hunt started that morning. We also took her fishing, we (Moody and Orson) caught 5 fish in about 30 minutes or so!

Grandpa's helper. Orson passed on the Rhino ride to look for deer so he could go walk with Grandpa, he had a fit when Grandpa had the nerve to leave without him. They built a wall for the fireplace.
The hummingbirds were crazy! It was fun to watch them fight for the food. They dive bomb each other and will buzz your head, it makes me crazy when they are that close.
Orson was so excited for the weekend that he had himself packed two days before. He got out his battery powered chainsaw so he could take it and help Grandpa Ludlow cut wood. As fate would have it, Grandpa was chopping wood when we pulled up. Orson ran to the trailer and got his saw and was over helping within seconds. He was also back within seconds throwing the saw into the trailer because it wouldn't cut wood! He had two backpacks filled with on odd assortment of treasures. He was all about his howdy hat and howdy boots this weekend. Had to have them on all the time. I am a bit surprised he didn't sleep with them, I guess his sleep hat (a Santa hat) was enough.
