We had hoped for better weather, but the weather gods were not favorable. Instead we got pelted with 60 MPH wind, rain and lots of clouds and cold. The kids didn't seem to mind. They played in the rocks (the cave, and the King's Palace) with their goggles on. Orson learned to ride his motorcycle without training wheels, I was a nervous wreck through it. And we celebrated Easter.

Easter
Somewhere south of Green River we found one of the only places to put trailers. Oh, there is a lot of land, just not to many places that are cleared enough to camp. Garry and I had wanted to see what this area of the state is like, we love the Maze District of Canyonlands and had hoped to get closer to the Maze. Didn't really happen. We did get to Horseshoe Canyon, but didn't hike down in because it was late, and reality is I didn't want to haul my butt back up the canyon. We saw a lot of the Green River (it is huge), a cold water geyser, rocks, sand, and more of the Green River.
